2011 Fleet Officers
Commodore
Adam Bock:
Adam grew up in California sailing a Laser on a small man-made lake and always dreamed of owing a catamaran. Now he has a Hobie 17SE, a Boyer A-Cat and a Hobie Bravo. He was drawn to Fleet 444 because the Fleet's many non-competitive fun sails, and because of the opportunity to learn about the finer points (and some not so fine...) of sailing from more senior members. For those non-fleet members reading this, Adam has one piece of advice: come out and sail with us!

Rick Adams:
Don't blink or you'll miss Rick! He doesn't sit still for long. If he's not hot-rodding his Hobie 17 or tinkering with his Hobie 14, he's sailing keel-boats on Lake Minnetonka or small boats on Lake Harriet. And if he's not there he's probably in Florida cruising the Intercoastal Waterway on his Hobie 17. Then again, he might be crewing for a rock star on an Inter 20 anywhere east of the Mississippi. When the water isn't cooperating up north he breaks out the downhill skis. Rick is a patient teacher and is an instructor for both sailing and skiing.
