Welcome to Hobie Fleet 444!  Our home waters are Lake Pepin at Lake City, MN.  We're a catamaran sailing club welcoming all makes of catamarans and sailors of all abilities.  You don't even have to have a boat!  Want to experience the thrill of catamaran sailing?  You'll find a ride with this helpful bunch.

Check out our events page.  We host a Hobie "points" regatta as part of NAHCA Division 7.  Division 7 has many other races in the region.  If racing is in your blood, our division has a lot to offer.  We also host cruising events, taking advantage of Lake Pepin's 22 mile length, as well as other bodies of water that the upper mid-west has to offer.  What could be better than a day on the water followed by a barbeque and some tall tales?

Whatever your taste, we've got you covered.  The bottom line is that we love to sail.  Dig that cat out of the back 40, dust it off, and drag it on over!

Spring 2008 Newsletter and Our Second Season:

Our second season is upon us and we are looking forward to a great summer.  BE A PART OF IT!  We'll have another great regatta and several "fun sails" on Lake Pepin.  Come along on our destination cruising event and you've got a perfect summer of sailing.  If you aren't already a member, please join us!  We're still a small fleet but we've got a solid foundation for a great community of sailors.   Read all about it in our Spring 2008 Fleet 444 newsletter.

Next Event 

Coming up Saturday and Sunday June 21 - 22 the Muddy Waters Regatta returns to Lake Pepin. Once again Hok-Si-La campground will be the host location with a great beach and regatta participant camping near the event shelter. This is a Hobie Cat sanctioned one-design event, so Hobies only please.

Saturday evening Hobie Fleet 444 is pleased to host the Summer Solstice Beach Party. Bring your favorite beverage, a beach chair and something to throw on the grill, and hang out on the beautiful shores of Lake Pepin.

Regatta Fees: $50 for crewed boats, $40 for single handed boats include bagels and coffee Sat/Sun morning, lunch on Saturday, sides for Saturday dinner, and t-shirts.

We look forward to a big turn out for the first Division 7 regatta of the season and we hope to see you there.
